2.4 ICT & Technology
The ICT & Technology main study programme teaches students to become software engineers in a technical environment, also called “Computer Technicians”. This means they develop software in which a direct interface operates between hard- and software. Communication through interfaces and behaviour of the fysical process is influential to software to be developed. This may occur at companies, that have an R&D department where products are being developed containing embedded systems. Also, it may take place in industrial automatisation (process control) or measurement (sensors).
