2.3 ICT & Software Engineering

When studying ICT & Software Engineering, students develop skills to analyse information and subsequently realise a design for a software product. These students learn how software can help in managing and processing information, while taking into account who its users are and how they can best work with the developed software. Subsequently, they are capable of developing and implementing the software. Knowledge and skills that an intern possesses has mainly been taught in the first and second year. This includes, among others, programming in C# and Java, distributed system design, fundamental software principles in operating systems, tests and software quality. Moreover, a graduate has gained knowledge in his third year, about enterprise software development and how to develop (web)applications with much congruency.
